My wife Christina and I got married back in July, but just last week went our honeymoon to Antigua. Getting out of Chicago in January is always a welcome break, most especially when going someplace as beautiful as Antigua! We had never stayed at an all-inclusive and are so grateful we chose to stay at the Sandals Grande Antigua. The beaches, the pools, the restaraunts, the staff...everything was top notch. I can say in all honesty, it was the first time I've ever eaten (and LOVED) salmon. There is something about being on an island in the caribbean. In our 9 days there we met some amazing people; both native islanders as well as other couples also vacationing at Sandals. When you stay at an all-inclusive, it is admittedly hard to pull yourself away from the beach or the swim-up bar with endless pina coladas. But we did take some time out to travel to the neighboring island Barbuda (population 1500), as well as tour Antigua itself. These are a variety of pictures from both Sandals as well as some of what we came across on our tour of the island. Enjoy!
